I had no idea last Sunday that we would be buying a car this week, but on Monday Jim started looking, Monday night we drove one hour (each way) to look at a car, Tuesday we did the financing with my credit union, Wednesday we drove back up to Lewes and came home with a new car, and Thursday my son came and bought our older one. And paid us cash! It was a great and exhausting week. By Friday (my actual birthday) it was all over and everyone is happy.
The dealer calls this “gold” but we call it “champagne.” It is a very pale metallic beige. 2008 Buick Lacross. It has everything we could possible want, including Onstar services. We get a basic package for free for 3 months and then we’ll see. It might be a good idea with all the traveling we do these days.
If anyone locally is reading this and looking for a very good, late model pre-owned vehicle, Mark Greytak at Lewes Automall was great to work with.
